Reuse and recycling are not new trends, they have been practiced since the dawn of time by all populations around the world with varying degrees of intervention.

This practice decreases the quality of materials over time.
Faced with a society that is constantly renewing its identity and undergoing rapid changes, we must rethink a new model of responsible consumption and production. The circular economy responds to this problem by adopting a system of cooperation between the actors of the territory in question.
In France, several companies already use this model to produce fairly.
However, reuse always suffers from preconceived opinions who consider second-hand materials waste while the amount of like-new equipment sent to landfill constitutes a huge waste.
Reuse means preserving natural resources and offering a second life to materials deemed “useless”. It is an effective way to preserve the environment by limiting waste and carbon footprints..

This model makes it possible to depend less on imports and fluctuations in the price of raw materials. The circular economy is no longer a choice, it is a current subject which invites us to act immediately and effectively because we no longer have the luxury of time.
To consume without damaging the environment, we must revolutionize the manufacturing process by focusing on upstream and downstream production.
Reuse contributes to the circular economy by limiting the waste of resources by extending the duration of use and life of products and their components. It intervenes in the 3 areas of action of the circular economy proposed by ADEME :
Offers and economic actors: several economic actors participate in reuse. Manufacturers play a key role in product design; distributors take care of placing repairable or second-hand products on the market. These players directly develop the offer.
Consumer demand and behavior: Consumers are at the heart of this activity through responsible behavior; they contribute to limiting negative impacts on the environment by extending the lifespan of products.
Waste management: During waste sorting, certain objects can be identified, tested, repackaged and reused.
It is therefore undeniable that reuse is a pillar of the circular economy. It allows you to extend the life of a product. The equipment thus gains a second life, without going into waste status or requiring complex and costly recycling steps.
